Our Story

Welcome to AFI, where the journey began with founders Jay Allen and Greg Benn who had started working together in 1986. In 1995, after nearly a decade of collaboration and a shared vision for specialty roofing services, they founded AFI, transforming their expertise in both residential and commercial roofing into a reputable business focused on client satisfaction. Starting as a small team of two, their background and skills paved the way for growth, with Beth Allen joining the firm as Business Manager to enhance the business and round out the management team. Together, they continued to build on a solid foundation, committed to providing quality roofing solutions tailored to their clients’ needs.

​​AFI is proud to celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2025, a testament to three decades of excellence. In recent years, we have embraced change, with Jay's retirement leading to Greg and Beth taking on new responsibilities. With the addition of experienced project managers Danny Williams and Sam Scheltema, alongside our dedicated team of roofing technicians, AFI is poised for continued growth for the next 30 years.
